The gastrointestinal tract is a very intricate but efficient system that allows the intake and removal of material which allows the body to accomplish routine day to day activities. The gastrointestinal system allows the intake of food and water being broken down to get used for strength. The gastrointestinal tract is made up of your mouth, esophagus, tummy, small and large intestinal tract, colon and the rectum. A Potential life-threatening disease of the digestive tract is color-rectal cancer.
Color-rectal malignancy is a producing polyp or tumor with the lining of the digestive tract. This particular type of tumor is usually 90% curable in the event that detected early on.
Color-rectal cancer is the 2nd leading cause of U. S. cancer deaths each year.
